Dr. Tracy Magerus was born to be a naturopath! She is passionate about creating a partnership with her patients to transform their health and reach optimal wellness. Using cutting edge medical technology combined with ancient wisdom, she treats the whole person and searches for the root cause of her patients suffering.
She uses a variety of natural therapies to form an individualized plan for each patient based on their health needs. She is dedicated to always evolving and learning to be able to present the best therapies and treatment plans for her patients.
Dr. Magerus graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University in 2004. During her undergraduate days she discovered naturopathic medicine and was so inspired by the philosophy that she knew that this would be her life's work. This is the medicine of the future!
Dr. Magerus received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2009 and completed a one-year family practice residency at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center with a focus in women's health. Over the years, her peers have twice honored her as a “Top Doc”in Phoenix Magazine.
Dr. Magerus is an active member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association. She has also developed and published books with Wild Brilliance Press for the naturopathic board exams. She has a special interest in teaching and served as adjunct faculty at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, teaching gynecology and advanced gynecological procedures lab for many years.
In her spare time, Dr. Magerus loves spending time with her husband and daughter. They love enjoying all the natural beauty that Arizona has to offer and are often found camping, kayaking and hiking up on the Mogollon Rim. Blessed with a solid foundation in cooking from her mother, she loves coming up with new, healthy recipes and trying them out on her family (they like it too!). Often described as easy going, a good listener and empathetic, she treats her patients like they are part of her family.
